Tekarra Lodge

Tekarra Lodge offers cabins built with local hardwoods and stones, each with a stone fireplace and a balcony overlooking the rivers. Lodge rooms are smaller but come with soundproof walls and a private bathroom. No televisions are found in the rooms, encouraging guests to focus on the mountain and river views from the property.

Tekarra Restaurant serves a menu of local and global dishes in a quaint setting near the river. The property has a bar offering wine and champagne, plus kid meals and special diet menus are available. A paid breakfast is included in some rates, and room service provides wake-up calls and coffee.

Guests can bike, hike, or fish on the lodge's trails and the adjacent Athabasca River. A children's playground and board games are set outside, with bikes, binoculars, and portable DVD players available for rent. Summer programs include a fitness bootcamp, a children's scavenger hunt, and live magic shows.

The lodge is set among tall pines 2 km from downtown Jasper and 28 minutes' drive from Marmot Basin ski area. Outdoor furniture, a barbecue pit, and a picnic area are placed along the river for viewing elk and other wildlife. The Jasper Tramway is 4 km away, and the lodge sits at the confluence of multiple rivers within Jasper National Park.

Dogs are welcome with pet bowls and pet baskets provided at check-in. Children have a playground, outdoor play equipment, and babysitting services upon request. The lodge also offers a children's activity program including a magic show and scavenger hunts during summer.
